Lake Constance has few fish at the moment.“The lake is too clean, it produces too few nutrients for the fish and their offspring,” say the experts. To counteract this phenomenon, a spawning station has been installed in the exhibition.
Three interlocking fir trees without needles (a common method in fish farming) and fishing lines hanging in them with threaded fish food and defused fish bait are intended to attract the fish and invite them to spawn comfortably in the branches. At the end of the exhibition, the entire structure was sunk in Lake Constance, far away from the fishermen.
